Sometimes when really sad things happen, I try to remember not to ask why? My family has gone through a really sad thing the last couple of days, and everytime I ask the question why, I try to remind myself that it's because. Does that make any sense?
I know that there are some things that are so hard to explain, and there's really no answer to the question why. But when this happends, I simply bear my testimony to myself in my head. I want to also put it out here in the blogosphere.
I KNOW that families can be together forever. I KNOW that Heavenly Father gave us faith, hope, charity and love and that the greatest is LOVE. I LOVE my family, and am grateful to be with them for eternity. I KNOW that we are never alone. I KNOW that the scriptures are like a road map that can lead us into eternity. I KNOW that the gospel has been restored to the earth. I KNOW that life is hard, but if you just keep going, and endure it, that you will be blessed.
I want my parents and my siblings to know that I love them. I want them all to be happy with all of my heart. I think of them, and pray for them sometimes hourly. I want them to know of my testimony, that it is stong, and never fails me. I am not perfect, but I try to improve every day.
I don't want to think of the why...it won't get me anywhere. I want to think of the promises that have been given to me if I remain faithful...just because.

BUSTED!!!
Thanks everyone for your advice on the drug house 'cross the street! hehe! They got BUSTED yesterday...wahoo!
I was just about to walk out the door to get JL from school and as soon as JS opened the door, there were two undercover cops in our front yard with guns drawn and bullet proof vests on. All they said was, 'INSIDE'. So I said, "yes sir!" and shut the door! JS was like, 'um Mom, those guys had guns!' Thanks Angie for bringing JL home from school for me! They busted into the house and even arrested a 'customer' during the raid! hehe! What an idiot!
Thanks again for listening to my rant and for the good advice...can't wait to move! Sometime!

Kudos to Grandpa...
Two weeks ago on Monday, Janie went back to school for the first time since her surgery. I worried about her all day long...'how is she doing?' and 'I hope she's not running at recess'...
I picked her up, and to my surprise, she was doing really well! She jumped in the car, and told me that the next week she was going to be wildcat of the week! I was so excited for her, and then she told me that along with being wildcat of the week, she was in charge of the 'show and teach' on Wednesday. Her class doesn't do 'show and tell' because there's certain kids that have a lot and some that don't have much, so they bring something to school and show their class something that they 'know how to do'. Anyway...long story, short...she said she wanted Grandpa to bring the horses from Beaver and show the kids how to ride. LOL! I told her that she could call Grandpa and ask him herself!!! Well, she called, and he said 'Ok see ya Wednesday!'
So Wednesday morning, Janie went off to school while Grandpa drove 4 hours with 2 horses and Janie's cute Aunt Andrea all the way here! Janie introduced 'her horses' and her Grandpa, and then Doug taught them about the quarter horse and how to saddle them. Then Janie got on and rode around the field. The kids LOVED it! It was so much fun!
Unfortunately, my camera is broken, so I had my good friend Monica bring her camera and take pictures! She took 74 pics and will give them to me on a CD! How nice is she???!!! THANKS Monica!!!
I will post them as soon as I have some!!! THANKS again Grandpa! You made Janie's whole day and probably whole rest-of-the-school-year!!!

Carrie's tag...

LOL...this is JT's 1st birthday picture...
He's always been a good eater, and I love this shirt that my cousin Lindsay bought him. It has a bottle on it and says..."Seek and Enjoy". That is his mission in life, still.
I love this little man!!
I tag Monica, Heidi, Heather P, Angie S, Jenny M, and Haylee W!

And that's who I am....
...lately I've been thinking about a country song called 'And that's who I am'. I wanted to share it and then share who I am...
I am Rosemary's Granddaughter
The spittin image of my father
and when the day is done
my Momma's still my biggest fan...
And that's who I am...
I am so glad that I am who I am. I am not the neighbor, and I am not the Relief Society president, and i'm not barbie, and I'm not perfect. I am me...and i'm glad. I've seen and heard of a lot of people just trying to be someone they're not, and I definately don't want to be that person...
I am first and foremost a daughter of God.
I am a Mom
I am a wife
I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
I am a daughter and daughter in law
I am a sister
I am a friend
I am an employee
I am a hard worker
I am blonde!
I am in love
I am a housekeeper
I am a billpayer
I am an AMERICAN
I am a believer
I am a musician
I am proud of my family
I am a matchbox twenty fan
I am a little addicted to facebook
I am a fan of Steven
I am brave
I am amazed at all i've gone through and that i've made it
I am that wife on the sidelines yelling at her hubby/kids...(thanks LeAnn Nelson!)
I am blessed
I don't EVER want to be anyone else. I am who I am, and I don't ever want that to change. I love who I am, even tho I try to improve every day. I want to be better, but the best part is, that it's possible. For now, THAT'S WHO I AM.
