Wordless Wednesday and the best Grandma...

These pictures were taken the day our little niece Lexie was born...Feb 3, 2007. What a little doll she is...WE LOVE YOU LE!

Steven's Grandma Rogers is the best Grandma in the world! Ok well, she's one of my favorites anyway...I have 4 favorites! Grandma's whole world revolves around her sweet Grandkids and Great Grandkids. She would do anything for any one of us. I love Grandma so much. She has been such a good example to me my whole life, and continues to be an example to my children as well as to me and Steven. WE LOVE GRANDMA ROGERS!!!

My hero...My Daddy!!!

I am such a brat! I freaked out over the little fridge that the mortuary brought us. I told them that we do a lot of things for them that we don't have to do...and we've never complained, but this time...I was complaining. We have a family of 5. We can not live out of a mini-fridge. So they came to take my old fridge, and I wouldn't let them. I told them I was going to hire a sophisticated old coke guy to fix my old fridge...and who would that dashingly handsome guy be? Yup. My Dad. He came over and had the old fridge fixed in about an hour. The problem? Receipts. Stuck in the fan. He pulled them out, and BAM! All fixed.
Dad is handy for a lot of things...fixing fridges, sending good emails, laughing and playing baseball with the grandkids, and a GREAT golf slice, plus much, much more. I told my Dad that he should charge the mortuary for his services, and he said that he charges double for house calls in the night. So I guess they owe him close to a thousand dollars.
I think he is worth millions.

This Wednesday is NOT wordless...

My good friend, Kate posted about a good friend of hers that has a sweet, sweet baby girl named Gracie, who has hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Which basically means that the left ventricle of her heart will not ever work. She has been in extreme critical care, but continues to defy the odds. She asked us to please pray for her, and if we wanted to, we could visit her site...www.thegledhillfamily.blogspot.com
I, of course thought that this was a nice gesture, and so I went to her site about a week and a half ago. Let me just tell you how much I LOVE this baby girl! She has captured my heart in so many ways. They have had some pretty good scares, but some really good moments. If you take a minute and read about her Mom and Dad, I can guarantee you will be amazed at their faith and their gratitude. I know I have. Gracie has blessed my life in so many ways...from loving her little face, to hugging my kids a little tighter. I have prayed so many times in this last little while...and i'm hoping that you all will too. Like I said, i'm a total stranger to her, but have been inspired by her and her family. Her Mom has said how wonderful it is to have complete strangers praying for her daughter...please pray for baby Gracie...

Tuesday Tell All...

That's right my fellow bloggers...it's time for another Tuesday Tell All...

If
you could do
something dangerous
just once
with no risk

what would you do?

Ah, there are so MANY things that I would do...but the one thing would be...

I would want to have another baby. I have had a tubal ligation because the doctors said NO MORE!!! I probably would either be deathly sick the entire time or I wouldn't make it, leaving my kids with STEVE. That, my friends is scarier than bungee jumping or falling from an airplane. I LOVE YOU STEVEN!!! HAHA
I have a condition called hyperemesis. I get real real sick when i'm pregnant, and almost didn't make it through my last pregnancy. The desire to have another baby is there, but I know it won't come from me. Maybe someday we'll adopt the baby girl we've been dreaming of having as our last child for so long. JL would want a sister, that's for sure!!!

Are you serious???

Ok...seriously. Our fridge goes out...and THIS is the fridge they bring me...
No kidding...
I'm going to FREAK OUT
that is...after I laugh til it hurts.
Really what are we midgets???

I love Steven's family

We are visiting Steven's parents this weekend!! What a blessing it is to have family. I love Steven's Mom and Dad..his Mom is one of my best friends. Since we drove 3.5 hours to get here, we spent some quality time together in the car...laughing and mostly teasing JT. I read my book (which by the way is GREAT) It's called the memory keeper's daughter...awesome. We arrived here, and settled in. I took Jaden out to pet the horses, and Jimbo let us rub his nose to which JT giggled. He loves the horses!
Tomorrow morning I am going for a walk with Cindy and then watching General Conference...a much needed uplift. I can't wait to sustain our new Prophet, who my kids call 'Pwesident Mawson'...LOL
I'm sure the rest of the day will be filled with watching JS and JL chase eachother in the horse pasture and throwing sticks to Nate.
What a great blessing it is to be married in the temple to Steven. I am so excited to spend eternity with him...he's everything to me. I love my kids, they are so fun and sweet to me and eachother. I am grateful for Family Home Evening and Family Prayer. These things teach me so much. My JL is my best friend, and i'm grateful for her help and for JS always telling me exactly what I need to hear. I love looking into JT's sneaky eyes. He's so fun too.
Steve's family are so good to me. I couldn't have ended up with a better guy. The whole package is just perfect. Life can be hard, but it is so beautiful and fun when you look at what is good around you.

My hand hurts!!!

Here's some random pictures of my hand. I don't know if you can see the swelling like I can. Today is actually a good day for my hand. It hurts pretty bad today tho, but not bad enough to NOT blog.

Here's my cute kids on Easter morning...I know, Easter's over, but these were too cute to pass up...

Daddy made French Toast for breakfast...yummy.

JS and his hat...and Ninja Turtle egg.

JT wore his hat all through breakfast.

I have found myself frustrated lately. I'm frustrated with my hand. It's tough to not be able to use it somedays. I am grateful, though for so many things. JL helps me out so much! Oh and speaking of JL'S...thanks supercoolmom for sending me GOOD MAIL!! She sent me a recipe book and a cute doll that she made. We named the doll Janie. She's amazing! I can't believe that she can make those dolls. I'd post a picture of her, but Janie took her to school. Oh the adventures that doll is going to have. THANKS AGAIN JL!!! That's so nice to get good mail.
