A good friend...

...the first day we moved here, I had a cute little blonde girl in our new place playing with JL. She said her name was Moe. I told her that I would have to meet her mama before JL could go over and play. It wasn't long before Shayla came over to introduce herself, and later bring us these DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies. She left the house thru the garage and saw my Matchbox sign and about had a coronary! She was a Rob fan too...and instantly we were bonded! We had the same pregnancy stories, the same likes/dislikes, and that was the beginning of a good friendship.
She came over at the end of April to tell me that she was gonna go to the Dr and talk about having another baby (which was scary since she gets as sick as me) and she was glowing! She went to the Dr and later came to tell me that she had an appointment at Huntsman cancer center. They were pretty sure she had breast cancer. They did a biopsy a few days later, and last week they confirmed the fact that she had breast cancer. On Monday she had a double massectomy and they removed a tumor in her lymph nodes. She is healing and doing well. Shayla is exactly 4 months older than me is all. Please pray for my cute friend! We are going to do a relay for life on the 4th of June @ Weber State. I love my Rob fan friend. When she same home, we had the house all sparkling, and decorated the porch and I left a sign on her door that said 'The rain's gonna wash away. I believe this. ~Rob Thomas.' I love ya, Shayla!

We got to watch Kyle warm up! JL lost her ticket backstage during the rehearsal, so I went back in the tunnel to find it. A janitor ended up finding it, but I found Kyle back there, too. Of course my stuff was on the court with the other moms and I didnt have my camera, but let me tell ya...he is so cute! haha! Oh and he smells as good as he looks!!

After the girls' performance, we went back into the tunnel, and President Monson was there. The girls got their pictures with him, and I stood there like a dummy not taking pictures. I have some friends with better pictures of him and JL and me, but I snapped this one as he was walking away...this is what it looks like if you were following the prophet tho...!!! He actually spent a minute and talked to my brother which was really REALLY cool. The next morning, JL woke up and looked at me and said..."I met the PROPHET!" She was more excited about that than the jazz performance! Everyone was shaking his hand, and JL and LA were hugging him around the waist so tight! haha!

It's just a brain...

...that is in Js's head. He doesn't have anything SERIOUS wrong with him! yay! We are going to the Dr again this week, and then the neurologist in May. It looks like he probably just has the dreaded Peterson headaches. Good thing he's tough.
My phone broke the day before the procedure, and I couldn't get any texts! I know a few people have said that they texted to find out, and I appreciate you! I appreciate all of you who called and/or texted (even tho I couldn't see em). It feels good to know who cares about us! Our Primary Presidency brought us dinner that night also, and that was so nice of them! I thought I could really handle it myself, but was very worn out emotionally and appreciated the dinner so much! We love our ward! Anyway, thanks everyone! We love our friends and family that care!

What's goin on in JSs head...

JS has been having headaches for awhile now. I took him in to the Dr about 3 months ago, they ran some tests, and we talked. His Dr said that he felt he was ok but gave us some things to watch for. In the last couple of weeks, he's been doing those things. I found out one day after he hadn't had almost 3 nights of sleep that he wasn't sleeping. He felt bad that he might have to wake me up, so he didn't. I have gone back to work on swingshift, and he didn't want to bother me. I have since made him promise to wake me up from now on.
The other thing i'm worried about is that his personality has changed. He is always really sweet, kind and caring, but lately he's been super depressed and he doesn't even know why.
I took him back in, and his Dr recommended that we go to PCMC to have a MRI done. We are going on Monday to make sure all is well inside his little noggin...cute little JS. We love this boy so much!

My New Friend...

...Yay! My cute sis had her baby in Feb!! I'm not big on having little kids' names on my blog, so I will just call him JRH here. I love love love being a new Aunt! Now if only JT would stop being jealous, that would be great! He keeps on telling me all the things that he can do that JRH can't. I think he's afraid that he's not as cool as the baby. I love all my kids so much! I am so happy to have a nephew!

Have I ever mentioned....

...that I LOVE STEVEN?!!! I really do...and he makes me happy. I think about how lucky I am all the time to be married to him. He is so good to me and the kids...just wanted to tell him that I love everything about him...and that he's the BEST!! I wanted to post one of my favorite pictures of my family...and yes they are all laughing hysterically at Steve.
